Dr. Ebert was raised on a farm in northwest Missouri, graduating from West Nodaway High School in 1964. He then attended the University of Missouri for his undergraduate education and veterinary school, graduating with his DVM degree in 1970.
After graduation, Dr. Ebert served his country in the United States Air Force for 3 years. In 1975, Dr. Ebert founded Pleasant Hill Animal Clinic and has been proudly serving the area ever since.
Dr. Ebert has been involved with many veterinary organizations, and is a past president of the Missouri Veterinary Medical Association and was named Missouri Veterinarian of the Year in 1988. He also served on the Pleasant Hill R-III School Board for 21 years.
Dr. Ebert's professional interests are small animal soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, swine herd health, and exotic animal medicine.
Dr. Ebert lives in Pleasant Hill with his wife Judy, and they are proud parents of 5 adult daughters and 11 grandchildren.
Dr. Baker grew up on a farm near Pleasant Hill, graduating from Pleasant Hill High School in 1981. He worked in various capacities for Dr. Ebert and in the clinic for many of his teenage and young adult years while in school.
His undergraduate education was obtained at Central Missouri State University, graduating with a bachelor's degree in 1986. Next, he attended the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating with his DVM degree in 1991.
He returned to his hometown to join Pleasant Hill Animal Clinic in 1991, becoming part-owner in 1996. Dr. Baker served on the Pleasant Hill R-III School Board for 15 years.
Dr. Baker's professional interests include Equine and Bovine preventative medicine, Equine Reproduction, Equine Lameness diagnosis and treatment, and Performance Horse health.
Dr. Baker resides on the family farm his wife, Lori (1982 PH Grad) and two daughters, Samantha and Sara.
Dr. Patterson grew up in Pleasant Hill, graduating from Pleasant Hill High School in 2004. He worked at Pleasant Hill Animal Clinic from 2003 to 2004 cleaning kennels, helping out around the clinic, and providing assistance on farm calls.
After completing his undergraduate work at Missouri State University, Dr. Patterson attended veterinary school at the University of Missouri, graduating with his DVM degree in 2011.
After graduation, Dr. Patterson moved to the Tampa, Florida region to join Blake Veterinary Hospital, practicing there for 3 years.
In 2014, Dr. Patterson "Came Home" to join Pleasant Hill Animal Clinic, and purchased Dr. Ebert's ownership stake in 2015.
His professional interests include client education, small animal surgery, and preventative medicine.
In 2013, he authored "How to Become a Veterinarian" a step by step guide for young people aspiring to be a veterinarian. He lives on a small farm outside of town with his wife, Melissa (2003 PH Grad) and two children, Aliceyn and Benson.

Dr. Wilburn grew up in Archie, MO, and also made his start with PHAC by helping around the clinic and assisting Dr. Baker with farm calls during summer breaks.
Dr. Wilburn graduated from Archie High School in 2006. He attended the College of the Ozarks and obtained a BS in Biology in 2010. He went on to receive a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Missouri in 2015.
After graduation, Dr. Wilburn spent his first year of practice in Effingham, Illinois, where he worked in a mixed animal practice involving primarily dairy cattle, beef cattle and small animal services. In 2016, Dr. Wilburn returned to Missouri and continued mixed animal practice with the Drexel Veterinary Clinic. In 2017, Dr. Wilburn joined the Veterinary team at PHAC.
Dr. Wilburn's professional interests include small animal and large animal preventative care, small animal and large animal reproduction, and soft tissue surgery.
Dr. Wilburn lives with his wife, Marlana and daughter Hadassah. They have 2 Siberian huskies- Malik & Ziva.
